At Home Thanksgiving Workout


Happy. Thanksgiving!


This is the time of the year to spend time with friends and family along with reflecting on all the things we are grateful for.


And we are truly grateful for the Reign Fitness Community!


This week we are featuring our "At Home Thanksgiving Workout" for you to knock out before the festivities begin. Get your body moving, burn some calories, and build up a healthy appetite.

"Happy Thanksgiving"


Directions: On a running clock, complete the following exercises for the set number of reps in the order listed for the set number of rounds.


Once you complete all the rounds, move onto the next section until you're done.


Complete for time:

5 rounds of:

5 Pull-ups (No Pull-ups complete burpees instead)

10 Push-ups

15 Squats


Then 4 rounds of:

8 Plank to Push

10 Jump Squats


Then 3 rounds of:

30s Mountain Climbers

30s Squat Hold


Then 2 rounds of:

20 Alternating Lunges (L/R =1)

30 sit-ups


Then 1 round of:

50 Burpees


Tips:

  • Identify the movements that you can go a little faster on with good technique and plan to do so while being mindful of not elevating to heart rate too high where you won't be able to get it to come back down.

  • Find a consistent pace that allows you to work at about 80-90% intensity level.

  • Head into the. final sections including the Burpees with enough in your gas tank where you can increase the intensity and make a solid sprint to the finish.

  • Implement breaks when you need but be strategic to keep yourself moving and recovering quickly.

  • Have fun and if you can, workout with friends and fam!
