Workouts don't have to be complicated or incorporate fancy equipment. In fact, some of the most fun and challenging workouts are designed with just bodyweight movements that you can do anywhere even at home.
These workouts are perfect for the days you can't make it into the gym or if you're looking to add some variety to your current workout routine.
Here are five workouts that you can implement this summer that require no equipment and that you can at home.
Every Minute on the Minute (EMOM)
Directions: Complete the exercise for the set number of reps and utilize the remaining time for rest and recovery. Start the next exercise for the set number of reps at the top of the next minute.
24 minutes
Min 1: Bodyweight Squats x 20-25 reps
Min 2: Cardio of Choice: ex. run/jump rope/high knees in place
Min 3: Push-ups x 20-25 reps
Min 4: V-ups or Sit-ips x 20-25 reps
Leg Day
Glute Bridges or Hip Thrusts x 20 reps + 10-20s hold
Walking Lunges or Alternating Lunges in place x 2 minutes
Break x 2-3 minutes as needed and repeat for 4-5 rounds
Tabata
20s work/ 10s break x 8 rounds (4 minutes) for each exercise.
- Break 2-5 minutes as necessary between each exercise.

Plank Hold
Burpees
Chipper
Directions: Complete the following workout for quality and time
Run 400m
40 alternating lunges
Run 400m
30 Sit-ups
Run 400m
20 Push-ups
Run 400m
30 Sit-ups
Run 400m
40 Alternating Lunges
Ab Session
Directions: Complete the exercise for the set amount of time followed by the set number of rest.
40 seconds of work/20 seconds of rest for 6 rounds (12 minutes)
Sit-ups or V-ups
Plank Hold Variation (Plank/Side Plank L/Side Plank R)
