Now onto the Member Spotlight and John “JT” Thompson who is an incredible evening squad member and truly exemplifies everything Reign is about.


John Thompson ‘JT’

Age: 54 soon
Occupation: Technical Buyer (door and window manufacturing)

What (who) brought you to Reign?

I needed to be a better paddler, I was struggling to gain strength and lose weight with just working out on the water a few times a week with my team.
 Amy Thompson (little sister) suggested I try Reign.

What is the most significant change – whether social, physical, mental…you have experienced since you have been here? 


I’m a better student of my own health, my awareness to short term goals to my help weight and mental discipline
Improvements in my life are tied directly to just feeling better.

What is your favorite thing about Reign?

Coaches and Family.
I learn best from just trying it and being with positive influences to guide me past my mistakes.

What are your goals or aspirations leading into the New Year?


Add more explosive power to my paddle stroke, via strength training and better food choices.

What advice would you give to anyone looking to start their fitness journey?

Invest in yourself!
