We require all members to complete the “Barbell Fundamentals” Class series before jumping into Reign Barbell Classes in order to ensure…
- That you have a basic understanding of the movements and exercises you may see in class.
- You are familiarized with the class structure including the warmups, mobility, movement prep, drills, strength workouts, and conditioning.
- You learn how to strength train with great technique and most importantly learn how to lift safely.
The Intro Class setting will also allow our coaches to work closely with every member/athlete participating and get an opportunity to answer all your questions.
Intro To Barbell Class Details
There will be two “Intro To Barbell Classes” a Part 1 and Part 2.
In order to move forward into Reign Barbell Classes, you must complete both parts. (If you feel as if you may not need to attend the Intro Class Series or a certain class, please speak to a coach or email email@example.com)
Each class will run roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours with a 10 minute break.
Part 1 will cover mainly barbell compound strength movements such as…
- Squat/Front Squat/Overhead Squat
- Strict Press
- The Dip
- Push Press
- Push Jerk
Part 2 will cover the basics of olympic lifting and introduce you to movements that you will see in Reign Barbell classes.
- Power Clean
- Squat Clean
- OH Squat
The Reign “Intro To Barbell” Class Series is $49 for all current members.
